The best good news is often accurate info that allows you to prepare properly. With that being said, the following is a direct post from a doctor I know who is one of the smartest people I have ever met. He has been studying the COVID virus since the start and just sent out the following: (PLEASE do not live as if this will all be over magically in a few weeks or months. prepare now.)
Excerpt from Dr. William Powers:
"Life is going to be very different for everybody moving forward. I know that everybody is very hopeful for a vaccine, and I have kind of kept my mouth shut on this for a while. This virus is a single stranded RNA virus. We struggle to make vaccines for those, and when we do, they often are only good for about 6 to 12 months before the virus has changed so much that it is no longer effective. This is why we have an annual flu shot. This also means that if you get covid-19, you may be able to get it a second time just like influenza. Having the flu does not convey immunity to all strains of flu for life, just the ones you've survived.
What is likely to happen is that there is now going to be a 'flu' that goes around every year but is 300 times more deadly and about five times more infectious. This is likely going to remain the case until we have some sort of antiviral that completely demolishes this thing and works on all strains. That may never come. A pan-coronavirus vaccine conveying lifetime immunity is likely impossible.
This is obviously disheartening, and means that life for humans on Earth may change a lot moving forward. That being said, humans are basically machines built for overcoming problems. I have absolute faith in humanity to be able to beat this thing eventually just like we did with HIV. It may be a Pyrrhic victory for awhile though. "

If you are an individual, then please make sure you have good health insurance and that you do not let it lapse.
A simple Life policy is also a good idea right now.
